- Michael Jackson suffered fatal cardiac arrest
- Joel Madden and Nicole Richie visited the Ocean City Boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. (Not to be confused with Ocean City, MD)
Though, surprisingly, Joel & Nicole lived to tell the tale.
So, all in all, just a monumental day in so many ways. A sad, weird, and somewhat unexplainable day.
