You might think I've been slacking on blogging, and I have been doing a lot of slacking in general, but more over, I've just been terribly busy celebrating one of the most important birthdays around. I say "one of" because obviously my own is the most important one ever. But, all things considered, Jamie's birth is a pretty spectacular occasion and we tried to do it up right. NYC on Friday. WC on Saturday. Drunken mayhem was had; mostly by the birthday girl herself. But I learned some valuble lessons...
- The C train will run when it wants to. No matter what the signs say.
- "Rain Showers" leave a lot of soap residue.
- Jamie is one of "those" drunks
- Being the guest of honor isn't all it's cracked up to be
- Mustaches have a unique effect on different people
- I'm "beautiful" and I shouldnt take it for granted or.. something..
- The papparazzi are such pests!
- My father actually has taught me useful things!
So, in conclusion, I hope you had a fun birthday, Jame! It's not always easy to formulate stupendous plans in such weather with such low funds and in such an area. Someday when I'm in the money, we'll do something better than freezing our asses (though mostly our legs) off in colder cities than our own and sliding down poorly plowed sidewalks. We'll go somewhere hot and celebrate both our birthdays where they should be; in ze heat! Love you, brother! Welcome to your 23rd year! I hope it's as awesome as the 22nd was...
